In addition to Stand up and writing, Akintunde is a dynamic Motivational Speaker - with more than 10 years of experience captivating audiences of all ages. By mixing comedic timing and a vast knowledege on many subjects, Akintunde motivates adults and children alike to obtain the faith required to become their absolute personal best. In 2004, Akintunde accepted the charge to motivate and mentor young people through the Man 2 Man Male mentoring program. In 2006, after great demand and request for a sister program, the Sister 2 Sister program was born.

PURPOSE:   The “MAN 2 MAN” and “SISTER 2 SISTER” programs are designed to utilize a small group settings to connect with young male and female students while simultaneously modeling and educating them on effective strategies to bring them to their full and expected potential. (10 sessions available) 

OBJECTIVES:

• To define and establish the importance of Self-Respect and Positive Self-image (Who Am I ?)

• To explain and explore Good Manners and Etiquette and Respect of Others

• To define short term and long term Goal- Setting and examine realistic and practical methods of applying these goals to everyday life

• To offer strategies for Self-Motivation

• To introduce Anti-Bullying strategies 

OUTCOME:  Students will gain empowerment through a deeper understanding of themselves, their abilities, and opportunities available to them. Students will co-author practical and applicable goals to keep them focused on the future in spite of any negative distractions. Measurable positive modifications in attitudes and social interaction with peers, teachers and parents will be obtained.
